CUSTOM POP! FIGURES

Good morning all! I hope you all are having a great day so far. I wanted to share my latest creation with you all, and I want to help all other customizers like me so feel free to ask me anything you would like related to the POP!

A client of mine reached out to me and asked me to create a POP! of a drawing she made. The character is a her creation and I make the custom based on drawings that she had.

The commission took about a week and it features 3D printed pieces, thanks in advance for checking out my post!

Step One
I started out by gathering all the source material and working out a game plan. I purchased a DIY Male POP! figure online and then when it arrived I began to add the details using Super Sculpey. The figure was then placed in my oven and baked, once cool I moved on to step 2.

Step Two
At this point I sanded down the clay and primed the piece and sanded some more. I used 500 - 100 wet / dry sandpaper until everything was smooth.
I then gave the figure a final coat of primer and began to paint.

Step Three
Now the POP! is ready for paint and I followed a paint chart supplied by my client, once all the painting was done I moved on to 3D printing.

Step Four
With all my pieces printed primed and painted I was now ready to package the POP up and deliver the piece.
